Aries
Although you don't feel like spending too much time in the kitchen, you obviously want your food to be tasty. Of course, it can also be a bit spicy. Stir-fry dishes with fresh vegetables, chicken or tofu (and sambal!) are ideal. For a snack, try carrot cake or carrot cupcakes, made with almond flour and filled with walnuts and honey.
Taurus
Healthy food is important to you, but of course it has to taste like something. So it is important that it is low in calories but still satisfies sweet cravings. How about a quiche with chicory, lean ham and cheddar cheese? For between meals: a fresh smoothie prepared with pear or fresh red fruit and Greek yoghurt.
Gemini
Choice stress! What are we going to eat? Not only are you physically very busy, mentally you are busy with everything at once. So go for a dish that gives you energy and is good for your brain. A delicious spicy omelette or scrambled eggs with salmon and spinach is a great choice for you. As a snack, have a (homemade) protein bar.
Lobster
Since your emotions sometimes go all over the place, you like to eat something that makes you happy. After eating a fine Italian pasta with fresh vegetables, chicken and a delicious home-made sauce you are completely satisfied. Or how about cheesy nachos with minced meat from the oven? And have you ever made fat- and sugar-free brownies?
Leo
You go for originality. Keeping in mind your temperamental nature, you go for something that is not only surprising, but also good for your heart. Japanese Shashuaka with smoked mackerel satisfies all desires. Tasty appetite? Make a super anti oxidant bowl of blueberries, raspberries, low-fat cottage cheese, fresh orange juice and honey!
Virgo
Given your sensitive gut, choose not too spicy, high-fibre products. Boil unpolished rice in broth and sauté in a mixture of oil, garlic, onion, ginger and laos. Stir with soy sauce until browned. Add cucumber salad, mildly spiced chicken satay and an egg; enjoy! Fancy a snack? Warm apple with walnuts and a bit of cinnamon!
Libra
Your food should not only taste perfect, it should also look beautiful! Roast beef from the oven with leeks, fennel and carrots can be served like a painting on a plate. That wonderful aroma combined with the splendour of colours! As a 'four o'clock' take a simple yet tasty prepared courgette soup with cream and a hint of mint.
Scorpio
As a mysterious, seductive Scorpio, you naturally go for the good old Asparagus; a healthy aphrodisiac. Make them unlike anything else with cheese tortellini and salmon. A scoop of crème fraîche through and a poached egg on top complete the dish. For a snack, go for a sensible chocolate chip oatmeal biscuit.
Sagittarius
The more exotic dishes are definitely up your alley. Something that will undoubtedly taste good to you is Thai basil chicken with soy oyster sauce, or else a Vietnamese Pho. Or how about Spanish prawns in garlic and patatas bravas with aioli? A vegetarian wrap with sweet pepper fête spread and grilled vegetables is a delectable snack.
Capricorn
Delicious food and not too complicated please. Typical Capricorn! In the kitchen, too, you like to keep things practical and clear. A nice slice of smoked salmon with dill cream sauce, baked potatoes from the oven and fresh green beans go down a treat. As a snack, balsamic mushrooms on (low-carb) toast are your favourite. Responsible and unbeatable!
Aquarius
You cook according to the latest trends and prefer to invent new dishes on the spot. Take two carrot tortillas and fill them with avocado, egg, tomato, grated carrot and a tuft of iceberg lettuce. Snack with homemade tuna salad on a slice of fresh cucumber or make courgette rolls with creamy pesto filling and pine nuts.
Fish
A fine variation on your much-loved shoarma sandwich is: the shoarma quiche! Fry the shoarma in oil with onion, mushrooms and leeks and place on the puff pastry in the bottom of the springform pan. Mix eggs, milk, crème fraîche and grated cheese and pour over. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Snack with carpaccio wraps with parmesan and rocket.
