Green horoscope

Not only witches, but also authentic constantly passing through gypsy families, used to not infrequently seek healing in nature. They did this, among other things, by following sick animals and watching which herbs, plants or fruits they ate. By experimenting themselves with their wisdom gained through nature, useful remedies for everyday ailments were created.

Aries 

Due to consuming too much meat, sugars, soft drinks and alcohol, your liver has been taking a beating lately. Pick the leaves of milk thistle, which has a cleansing and invigorating effect (and is high in iron and vitamin C), cook them like spinach, process them raw in your fresh smoothie or mix them into your salad.

Taurus 

Your throat, nose and ears may be bothering you now. Parsley is high in vitamin C, which boosts your immunity. It also has an anti-bacterial, diuretic effect, making it easier for your body to fight off pathogens. It also combats bad breath, which can result from a nasal cold or laryngitis. Draw tea from it or eat it raw as a snack.

Gemini 

Due to sitting in one position too often, you can develop back or neck pain and even RSI symptoms. For internal healing, drink a cup of strong tea of one teaspoon of swamp spirea to 150 ml of water several times a day. Place a poultice of the tea on the sore spot and leave it on for a few minutes. Also against headaches!

Lobster 

Abdominal cramps caused by digestive problems, menstruation or menopause are no stranger to you now. Tarragon, with its warming properties, works wonders both internally and externally. Make a cup of tea of the herb to drink three times a day or mix one drop of essential tarragon oil with a tablespoon of basic (almond - or olive) oil to massage the abdomen.

Leo

Pimples, skin inflammations, spots and blemishes you may suffer from now will disappear like snow in the sun when you take a bath with sprigs of rosemary added to the water. Blood vessels also need extra attention now. Avoid alcohol and caffeine, exercise more and drink several cups of rosemary tea a day to promote blood circulation.

Virgo  

After weeks of hard work and going over your limits, it is advisable to really take an evening to completely relax. Tricky? Make a pot of 'catnip'. Boil 25 grams of catnip on 1 litre of boiled water for a relaxing drink with a natural high. Strain out the leaves and drink slowly (watch the effect per cup) for a slightly hallucinogenic effect.

Libra

After having to deal with several disappointments, you could use a pick-me-up right now. Besides, you are quite forgetful. Every morning, make tea with a teaspoon of dried Ginkgo Biloba or incorporate fresh leaves in your freshly squeezed juice. It will make you happier, your concentration better. In addition, it helps cure kidney problems and bladder infections, to which you are now also susceptible.

Scorpio 

To maintain your weight more easily, put 125 g of fresh horseradish daily in the blender along with three lemons. Blend well and finally add some honey. Not only does this herb boost your metabolism, it is also good against infections and inflammations that you need to be extra vigilant about now because of reduced immunity.

Sagittarius 

Sports injuries lurk; bruises and overstretched muscles - and tendons. Rub the leaf of comfrey on the sore spot, and the active ingredient is absorbed directly through the skin. Pulverising the leaves and adding water creates a (more medicinal) porridge, also for external use.

Capricorn  

Pimples pop up like mushrooms. You don't want this! Hang your face over a pan of boiled water to which you have added quite a bit of chamomile (flowers) and place a towel over your head. Wipe away the perspiration with clean cotton pads. Finish with a splash of cold water over your skin! In case of unexpected stomach cramps, drink chamomile tea.

Aquarius  

You are having some trouble sleeping, today. Before going to bed, have a cup of golden milk to unwind both mentally and physically. Put some almond milk in a pan, add 1 tsp maple syrup, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 cinnamon stick (or 1 tsp powder) and 1 piece of ginger. Bring to a boil and stir through. Important: adding some black pepper improves absorption into the blood!

Fish 

Complaints associated with allergies may now surface. You get rid of them by boiling 200 ml of water in a pan and adding 20 grams of thyme. Add 20 grams of honey and you have a delicious syrup that also dilates the airways. Stuck mucus can be cleared with a steam bath (towel over your head) of boiled mint and eucalyptus leaves.
